Marius Gernsø didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Ejnar Noving was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anbæk United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stånum AC the free kick. The supporters of Stånum AC booed when Anbæk United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ejnar Noving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stånum AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerner Oldefar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikki Frisenvold made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kornelius Schønfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes of play, Anbæk United's Franck Øfeldt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marius Gernsø was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Franck Øfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Stånum AC's Nikki Frisenvold dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Marius Gernsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleks Ahlegaard in the 77th minute of play. Marius Gernsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Øfeldt in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stånum AC's zone, Aleks Ahlegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Gernsø came out of the goal and Aleks Ahlegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Julius Brügmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleks Ahlegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marius Gernsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleks Ahlegaard in the 89th minute of play forced Stånum AC's goalkeeper Marius Gernsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Walther Hægstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96th play minutes Aleks Ahlegaard shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Marius Gernsø and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Anbæk United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stånum AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
