In the 14th match minute, Kaarup AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofus Strait to maneuver through the defense. Moses Rekkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrik Splittorff having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kaarup AC's Richard Bore got a free kick in the 17th minute. Lasse Michalow took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulrik Splittorff. Kaarup AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Richard Bore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaarup AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rødby the free kick. The supporters of Rødby booed when Kaarup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Bore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Rødby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balthasar Bækby to maneuver through the defense. Nicolaj Thortsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Folmar Raskmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastean Hedemann kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game, Sofus Strait dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rødby's Lasse Michalow got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rødby's zone, Nicolaj Thortsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folmar Raskmark came out of the goal and Nicolaj Thortsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sofus Strait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folmar Raskmark having to interfere. Moses Rekkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolaj Thortsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Moses Rekkov from a close distance when the talented Ulrik Splittorff managed to make a qualified save. Kaarup AC's players were relieved. Kaarup AC's Sofus Strait got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Moses Rekkov made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kaarup AC's Ulrik Splittorff tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sofus Strait received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Folmar Raskmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastean Hedemann charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastean Hedemann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Kaarup AC's Ulrik Splittorff got control of the ball when Balthasar Bækby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moses Rekkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hagbart Aasbang came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rødby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hagbart Aasbang couldn't finish the play. After having played for 87 minutes, Moses Rekkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rødby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moses Rekkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Moses Rekkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulrik Splittorff. Kaarup AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moses Rekkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gunvald Halberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolaj Thortsen in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folmar Raskmark saved Rødby from getting behind. A hard shot 96 in the game by Balthasar Bækby from a close distance when the talented Ulrik Splittorff managed to make a qualified save. Kaarup AC's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rødby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
