Andreas Næsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Amin Selnø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Elø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amin Selnø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Artur Elø in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amin Selnø, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Amin Selnø managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when holms drenge fc's Artur Elø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andreas Næsø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amin Selnø having to interfere. Amin Selnø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Elø in the 18th minute. The holms drenge fc fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when holms drenge fc's Andreas Næsø looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. If Einer Gaardsdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janick Falbjørn kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Timo Hesselvang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Haldborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Spid I.F.'s Holger Wilkenschildt got a free kick in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Amin Selnø successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. holms drenge fc's Freddy Haldborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Hesselvang in the 40th minute of play. If Artur Elø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spid I.F.'s goalkeeper Amin Selnø, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amin Selnø made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Artur Elø sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Ejvind Gullemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Loke Lundstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but holms drenge fc's Freddy Haldborg did a great save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Hesselvang to strike the kick off in the second half. holms drenge fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Timo Hesselvang 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. With a little luck, holms drenge fc's Freddy Haldborg got control of the ball when Einer Gaardsdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ejvind Gullemann got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Timo Hesselvang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Spid I.F. booed when holms drenge fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimi Valow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Haldborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Hesselvang, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Piet Visby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Haldborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spid I.F. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
