After a defensive mix-up in Kaarup AC's zone, Einer Gaardsdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulrik Splittorff came out of the goal and Einer Gaardsdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sofus Strait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Kaarup AC's Nicolaj Thortsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amin Selnø. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spid I.F. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Sofus Strait scored 1-3 in the 102nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amin Selnø, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Spid I.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kaarup AC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
