Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Manderup AC's Samson Fjeldbo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernard Rafn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Plith having to interfere. When Nikki Frøstrupkær fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manderup AC's protests and gave Nikki Frøstrupkær a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Manderup AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikki Frøstrupkær to maneuver through the defense. Augustinus Skjoldjensen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Al Plith. Manderup AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Ronny Drest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gundsø FC's Jasper Gildorf got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Mouritz Strandsø came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Manderup AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouritz Strandsø couldn't finish the play. Samson Fjeldbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouritz Strandsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Anhalzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Anhalzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samson Fjeldbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samson Fjeldbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Anhalzer having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Samson Fjeldbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gundsø FC's Tommy Anhalzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samson Fjeldbo in the 37th minute of play forced Gundsø FC's goalkeeper Tommy Anhalzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samson Fjeldbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Mouritz Strandsø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manderup AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouritz Strandsø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mouritz Strandsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tommy Anhalzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustinus Skjoldjensen's late challenge caught a Manderup AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustinus Skjoldjensen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th minute, Haakon Phiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunvald Buchner to strike the kick off in the second half. Manderup AC's Samson Fjeldbo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Al Plith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunvald Buchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Manderup AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronny Drest fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Al Plith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunvald Buchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bernard Rafn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Plith having to interfere. A collision led to Manderup AC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nicko Nieben hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gunvald Buchner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Al Plith, 0-1. In the 89thth minute of the game Gunvald Buchner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manderup AC's Al Plith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Mouritz Strandsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Anhalzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gunvald Buchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
