Spectators: 6860 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luis Angelo made the kick off which started today's match. Ole Grusgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Gemelche kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ole Grusgaard had several of the Astrup FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Terri Capton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Terri Capton came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Vittrup's Ole Grusgaard. But to his dismay, Ole Grusgaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luis Angelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Terri Capton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Vittrup's Ole Grusgaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Terri Capton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Astrup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Angelo came free, but Terri Capton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terri Capton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Angelo in the 25th minute of play. Bertrand Vedkiær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terri Capton having to interfere. Ole Grusgaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Terri Capton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toke Bertelsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vittrup's goalkeeper Marc Indekeu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luis Angelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Terri Capton was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The supporters of Vittrup booed when Astrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hulshoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Astrup FC's zone, Ole Grusgaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terri Capton came out of the goal and Ole Grusgaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuart Lyons hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Ole Grusgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vittrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole Grusgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luis Angelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Hulshoff hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Astrup FC's Terri Capton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Rosmer in the 86th minute of play. Luis Angelo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Terri Capton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vittrup. Lavrits Janting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Indekeu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Curt Fucks. In the 96th minute Toke Bertelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Indekeu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 minutes Vittrup's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Curt Fucks who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Astrup FC's corner Curt Fucks fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marc Indekeu quite easily take care of the ball.
