Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eskild Badeby started the match with the kick off. When Eskild Badeby came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lindebjerg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskild Badeby couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Lindebjerg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Jefsen came free, but Peter Scherfig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Blokhus SIK's Gynther Birkekjær nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Scherfig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Anker Folke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Per Mørksted managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Lindebjerg FC's Anker Folke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eskild Badeby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Per Mørksted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lindebjerg FC's zone, Poul Jefsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Scherfig came out of the goal and Poul Jefsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Anker Folke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Per Mørksted was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Lindebjerg FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kasper Færing hit a great ball. When Gynther Birkekjær came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Blokhus SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gynther Birkekjær couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes, Rupert Ryddeskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindebjerg FC and the Blokhus SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rupert Ryddeskov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Poul Jefsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anker Folke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Per Mørksted skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anker Folke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anker Folke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Mørksted having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Kasper Færing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindebjerg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blokhus SIK the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gynther Birkekjær to make the kick off. The supporters of Lindebjerg FC booed when Blokhus SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poul Jefsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Poul Jefsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Peter Scherfig managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Blokhus SIK's Poul Jefsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gynther Birkekjær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Peter Scherfig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anker Folke in the 59th minute of play forced Blokhus SIK's goalkeeper Per Mørksted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd play minute Poul Jefsen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Peter Scherfig. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Lindebjerg FC's zone, Gynther Birkekjær stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Scherfig came out of the goal and Gynther Birkekjær tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lindebjerg FC's Amadeus Sæbud got a free kick in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Gynther Birkekjær took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Peter Scherfig to make any attempt to save it. Poul Jefsen in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peter Scherfig, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the match, Lindebjerg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Jefsen came free, but Peter Scherfig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Gynther Birkekjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Scherfig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poul Jefsen struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Peter Scherfig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blokhus SIK. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blokhus SIK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
