Memphis Troldahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volmar Malmhagen in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match, Ronni Lubbert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hagbard Frilund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Volmar Malmhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Memphis Troldahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Volmar Malmhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frans Vils's late challenge caught a Højsten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frans Vils helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The End getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Frans Vils hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Volmar Malmhagen made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The End's Memphis Troldahl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Volmar Malmhagen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Memphis Troldahl was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The End's Eric Refning got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volmar Malmhagen was the one to do the kick off. Frans Vils hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Frans Vils shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hagbard Frilund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, The End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Vils to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Brunals hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Memphis Brunals kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Volmar Malmhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Højsten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volmar Malmhagen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Volmar Malmhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Memphis Troldahl having to interfere. Memphis Troldahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronnie Glenholm went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The The End fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Højsten were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
