Runar Elbrønd started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ronnie Glenholm put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Svenn Laumann. The supporters of Højsten booed when Raabymagle AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folmer Edelborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svenn Laumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Elbrønd in the 13th minute of play. Rikardt Calundann took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svenn Laumann. Svenn Laumann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Runar Elbrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Højsten getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Augustin Saksenborg hit a great ball. Svenn Laumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikardt Calundann in the 23rd minute of the match. Svenn Laumann came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Højsten's Ronnie Glenholm. But to his dismay, Ronnie Glenholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Georg Justinussen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dennis Folevang in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hagbard Frilund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hagbard Frilund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Folevang went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 38 minutes, Dennis Folevang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raabymagle AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Folevang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Folevang struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hagbard Frilund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raabymagle AC. Svenn Laumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Elbrønd in the 44th minute of play. Folmer Edelborg's late challenge caught a Højsten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folmer Edelborg helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Raabymagle AC got a freekick which was hit by Folmer Edelborg. After the first half Højsten were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Højsten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Folmer Edelborg was slow to take the kick. During this time Raabymagle AC's players had a chance to rest. Dennis Folevang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hagbard Frilund having to make a save. In the 61st minute Runar Elbrønd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svenn Laumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Højsten booed when Raabymagle AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Ersø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Glenholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Svenn Laumann made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Rikardt Calundann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svenn Laumann. Raabymagle AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rikardt Calundann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Dennis Folevang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hagbard Frilund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Elbrønd in the 78th minute of play forced Raabymagle AC's goalkeeper Svenn Laumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svenn Laumann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikardt Calundann in the 80th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Laureano Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raabymagle AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Folevang struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hagbard Frilund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raabymagle AC. Linus Løsholt made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ronnie Glenholm. When Micki Søvrup fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Højsten's protests and gave Micki Søvrup a yellow card for diving instead.
