The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Splash AC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Kej. After 4 minutes of play, TCumhuriyet's Zé Schmidt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Ganwills was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elivélton Vinhas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gregor Hyaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thue Varmdorf in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TCumhuriyet's Franz Vesthammer got a free kick in the 12th minute. Elivélton Vinhas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Lenni Vulov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Christoffer Ganwills made a huge save. After some careless play in the Splash AC defense, Zé Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffer Ganwills. The Splash AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Ganwills should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thue Varmdorf in the 27th minute of play forced TCumhuriyet's goalkeeper Gregor Hyaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the TCumhuriyet defense, Thue Varmdorf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Hyaa. The TCumhuriyet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Hyaa should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Zé Schmidt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christoffer Ganwills. The goal made the score 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Schmidt in the 39th minute of play forced Splash AC's goalkeeper Christoffer Ganwills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffer Ganwills was a little too slow when Zé Schmidt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-1. After some careless play in the TCumhuriyet defense, Ernst Kjærvang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Hyaa. The TCumhuriyet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Hyaa should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenni Vulov to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Splash AC's goal looked a bit too open when Lenni Vulov came free, but Christoffer Ganwills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Babbis Kanavaros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Splash AC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Schmidt came free, but Christoffer Ganwills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Ernst Kjærvang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Hyaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thue Varmdorf got free with Gregor Hyaa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Splash AC's Babbis Kanavaros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Babbis Kanavaros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Splash AC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Babbis Kanavaros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Splash AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave TCumhuriyet a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Claesson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Splash AC's Christoffer Ganwills. 5-5. After 89 minutes of play, TCumhuriyet's Zé Schmidt made it 6-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Ganwills was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoffer Ganwills was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 100 minutes, Lenni Vulov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TCumhuriyet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenni Vulov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TCumhuriyet had won after a very even match.
