Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kim Klintsø started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Åsendrup's Casper Clauding made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vagn Brianka was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Kim Bakander sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aske Brom threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kim Bakander this time. In the 12th minute of the match, Kim Klintsø tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aske Brom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th match minute, Åsendrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Houe to maneuver through the defense. Kim Klintsø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aske Brom came out and tried to block the shot, but Kim Klintsø slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Ian Frimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagn Brianka having to interfere. When Casper Clauding came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Åsendrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Clauding couldn't finish the play. Vagn Brianka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Clauding in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Ian Frimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vagn Brianka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Frimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vagn Brianka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Clauding in the 41st minute of the match. Ian Frimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vagn Brianka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, one of Zenit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casper Clauding to make the kick off. Vagn Brianka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Frimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Åsendrup's Ian Frimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vagn Brianka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Åsendrup's Casper Clauding ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vagn Brianka. Vagn Brianka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Aske Brom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fritzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes, Zenit's Bjarke Bahrendorff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aske Brom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zenit reached it. Bjarke Bahrendorff hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Casper Clauding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vagn Brianka was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, Åsendrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Bommer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Åsendrup's zone, Kim Klintsø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aske Brom came out of the goal and Kim Klintsø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aske Brom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Fritzen in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Åsendrup's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Fritzen came free, but Aske Brom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Frimer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vagn Brianka firmly grabbed it by the left post. Åsendrup's Ian Frimer got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aske Brom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Klintsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Frimer came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vagn Brianka could save by the left post. In the 93rd play minute Ian Frimer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vagn Brianka. 1-3. Åsendrup played a much better game than Zenit and deserved their victory. The Zenit players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
