Spectators: 5560 (Terracing: 4400, Seating: 1150, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lenni Vulov kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Boerskov was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. It was Tobias Lykkeø who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ditlef Lundsholm heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 24th minute of the match Walentin Priesum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregor Hyaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SSHS FC's Fabian Boerskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenni Vulov in the 26th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Flemming Frello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SSHS FC and the TCumhuriyet players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SSHS FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Flemming Frello hit a great ball. Gregor Hyaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eske Løvvang, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Ulrik Staubo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TCumhuriyet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSHS FC the free kick. Ulrik Staubo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, TCumhuriyet's Gregor Hyaa got control of the ball when Kevin Karnof tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregor Hyaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eske Løvvang in the 36th minute of the match. Eske Løvvang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gregor Hyaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregor Hyaa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rene Flygenring sent off a good shot on target. If Eske Løvvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eske Løvvang to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ulrik Staubo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eske Løvvang in the 60th minute of play forced TCumhuriyet's goalkeeper Gregor Hyaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SSHS FC booed when TCumhuriyet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Vesthammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eske Løvvang in the 71st minute of play forced TCumhuriyet's goalkeeper Gregor Hyaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godtfred Meldahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Flygenring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Hyaa having to interfere. If Kevin Karnof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorstein Noach's late challenge caught a SSHS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
