The referee showed Kim Klintsø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zenit getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kim Klintsø hit a great ball. Mikki Filskov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mikki Hvirvelkær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikki Filskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenit's Kim Klintsø got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Kim Klintsø off the ground. After a rather tough play, Zenit's Kim Klintsø got a free kick in the 28th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Mikki Hvirvelkær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vagn Brianka. Zenit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikki Hvirvelkær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The ASTRALIS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Fritzen made a kick off. With a little luck, Zenit's Vagn Brianka got control of the ball when Jens Homark tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vagn Brianka was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Mikki Hvirvelkær capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mikki Hvirvelkær really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a rather tough play, ASTRALIS FC's Jens Homark got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Mikki Hvirvelkær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikki Hvirvelkær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vagn Brianka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Zenit got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Permin. Mikki Hvirvelkær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagn Brianka having to interfere. In the 70th minute Mikki Hvirvelkær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagn Brianka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mikki Hvirvelkær managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASTRALIS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikki Hvirvelkær was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vagn Brianka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, ASTRALIS FC's Mikki Hvirvelkær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vagn Brianka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nickolas Fjordbank kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Zenit got a freekick which was hit by Esben Saksenborg. If Mikki Hvirvelkær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Vagn Brianka successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 94 minutes into the match, ASTRALIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Fritzen came free, but Nichlas Kleisøe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over ASTRALIS FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zenit throughout the match.
