Absalon Schousbølle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ferraz in the 8th minute of play. Wolfgang Aloph charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wolfgang Aloph the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Frederiksund AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Albjørk to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes of play, Gelmore FC's Manuel Ferraz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Absalon Schousbølle was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Manuel Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gelmore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Eberhardt Theda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunner Ringholm's late challenge caught a Frederiksund AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunner Ringholm helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gelmore FC! The referee gave Frederiksund AC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Freddy Kvolbæk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid. 1-2. Frederiksund AC's Absalon Schousbølle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ferraz in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Frederiksund AC's Freddy Kvolbæk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Eberhardt Theda took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Absalon Schousbølle. Absalon Schousbølle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. A collision led to Gelmore FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Laslo Luginbühl hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Kvolbæk to strike the kick off in the second half. Gelmore FC's Eberhardt Theda got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eberhardt Theda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frederiksund AC's Absalon Schousbølle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gelmore FC's attentive Gunner Ringholm managed to snatch the ball when Janus Munthesen made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Manuel Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wolfgang Aloph was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Wolfgang Aloph hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Kvolbæk in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahieddine Bouzid saved Gelmore FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Absalon Schousbølle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Absalon Schousbølle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eberhardt Theda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 82 minute of play. Mahieddine Bouzid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Seiring, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Seiring in the 92nd minute of play. Mahieddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Kvolbæk in the 94th minute of the match.
