Arne Buchholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicki Nykrog having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eyvin Prosch in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicki Nykrog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eyvin Prosch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nicki Nykrog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Eyvin Prosch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranekilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eyvin Prosch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicki Nykrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Stiegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Tranekilde's Eyvin Prosch in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Øjvind Tersløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Malund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephan Stiegler scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicki Nykrog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Roager SIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tranekilde were winning 0-1.

Nicki Nykrog was a little too slow when Arne Buchholz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. A collision led to Roager SIK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lennarth Greve hit a great ball. The long shot by Paw Fylling in the 58th minute really tested Nicki Nykrog's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nicki Nykrog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eyvin Prosch in the 59th minute. Lavrits Truelsholm hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Øjvind Tersløv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roager SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Øjvind Tersløv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Malund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
