Galaxy United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When Manuel Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gelmore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Ferraz couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Manuel Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gelmore FC's Wolfgang Aloph managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricky Neervad in the 64 minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Nicolas Usø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gelmore FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy United FC the free kick. 67 minutes into the match, Galaxy United FC's Egil Genild sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahieddine Bouzid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Ferraz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Grøftebjerg came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Ferraz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 70th minute. Manuel Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gelmore FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
