Spectators: 5846 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Hilskov started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Eyvin Prosch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saucers's Witomir Jankowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Buchholz in the 6th minute of play forced FC Saucers's goalkeeper Witomir Jankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Malund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ebbe Crail in the 7th minute. The supporters of Tranekilde booed when FC Saucers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebbe Crail didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bent Schandorph during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Saucers's Bent Schandorph got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Paw Fylling came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Tranekilde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paw Fylling couldn't finish the play. Ralf Malund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Navntorp went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute David Hilskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Malund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Saucers's Ralf Malund threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Hilskov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. David Hilskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Tranekilde got a freekick which was hit by Lavrits Truelsholm. The audience was convinced that David Hilskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Malund was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Ebbe Crail recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Hilskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eyvin Prosch made a kick off. Stephan Stiegler struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Witomir Jankowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tranekilde. FC Saucers's Jimmy Rading managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paw Fylling in the 54 minute of the game. Bernhard Starel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Tranekilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Delkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Bent Schandorph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witomir Jankowski made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Eyvin Prosch sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, FC Saucers's goalkeeper Witomir Jankowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephan Stiegler. 80 minutes into the game, Christian Renmark threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Saucers's Benth Mejnecke quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Benth Mejnecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that David Hilskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Malund was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. FC Saucers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
