Spectators: 6829 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Øjvind Tersløv started the match with the kick off. Nicki Nykrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Genild in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigurd Almblad in the 8th minute of play forced Roager SIK's goalkeeper Nicki Nykrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Terkel Vu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roager SIK's protests and gave Terkel Vu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Terkel Vu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ulrick Fogelstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigurd Almblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicki Nykrog having to interfere. In the 14th minute Sigurd Almblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicki Nykrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Øjvind Tersløv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Gunner Fenby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy United FC and the Roager SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gunner Fenby hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Galaxy United FC's Kenneth Grøftebjerg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Galaxy United FC from getting a goal against them. If Amdi Rylinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galaxy United FC's Ulrick Fogelstrøm got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Egil Genild had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicki Nykrog. Roager SIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Genild was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Roager SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halfdan Louwen to maneuver through the defense. Sigurd Almblad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicki Nykrog having to make a save. Amdi Rylinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nicki Nykrog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Albinus Revens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicki Nykrog showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egil Genild was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Lennarth Greve sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Grøftebjerg skillfully saved the ball. Kenneth Grøftebjerg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øjvind Tersløv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Galaxy United FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ulrick Fogelstrøm hit a great ball. Roager SIK's Dan Weinoldt got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halfdan Louwen kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Roager SIK defense, Ulrick Fogelstrøm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicki Nykrog. The Roager SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicki Nykrog should have stopped the shot. Ulrick Fogelstrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Ulrick Fogelstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicki Nykrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Øjvind Tersløv cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kenneth Grøftebjerg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Amdi Rylinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Lennarth Greve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Galaxy United FC booed when Roager SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennarth Greve didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Ulrick Fogelstrøm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galaxy United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Galaxy United FC's Amdi Rylinger got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egil Genild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicki Nykrog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
