FC Saucers's Witomir Jankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saucers from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sigurd Almblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxy United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigurd Almblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witomir Jankowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigurd Almblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Witomir Jankowski made a huge save. Witomir Jankowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Genild in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galaxy United FC's Egil Genild got a free kick in the 65th minute. Witomir Jankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigurd Almblad in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Saucers booed when Galaxy United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albinus Revens didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Hilskov in the 72nd minute of play forced Galaxy United FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Grøftebjerg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Jankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigurd Almblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Saucers made a substitution. Bent Schandorph replaced Ken Mainz. In the 80th minute Egil Genild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Jankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witomir Jankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigurd Almblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Egil Genild came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Galaxy United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Genild couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 92 in the game by David Hilskov from a close distance when the talented Kenneth Grøftebjerg managed to make a qualified save. Galaxy United FC's players were relieved. Albinus Revens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Witomir Jankowski. FC Saucers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
