Bredstruplund's Bob Værenstrøm got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claus Unschuld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hauge Møllnitz having to interfere. Hektor Gejl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gotfred Tørnæs in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hektor Gejl made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gotfred Tørnæs sent off a good shot on target. Mogens Musmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hektor Gejl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mogens Musmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Bredstruplund were furious when Harold Froggaard was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Bredstruplund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bredstruplund. Claus Unschuld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hauge Møllnitz having to interfere. Claus Unschuld struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hauge Møllnitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredstruplund. A collision led to Fenerbahce4000 Grozny getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mogens Musmann hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce4000 Grozny's Kurth Sarland got a free kick in the 100th minute.
