The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Runners Mafia's goalkeeper Micael Spangslund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asbjørn Kytønen. Bendt Klausholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Berwald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirch Nyegaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirch Nyegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Artur Berwald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Runners Mafia's Bendt Klausholm got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dirch Nyegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rasmus Bylander came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Runners Mafia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Bylander couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes of play, Runners Mafia's Bendt Klausholm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Berwald was left in no man's land by his defense there! Runners Mafia's Rasmus Bylander got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29thth minute of the game Asbjørn Kytønen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Runners Mafia's Micael Spangslund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Micael Spangslund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Rumfoord in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bendt Klausholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runners Mafia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bendt Klausholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Berwald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bendt Klausholm made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Laudrup FC's goalkeeper Artur Berwald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirch Nyegaard. 58 minutes into the game, Laudrup FC's Nikolas Sorterup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Micael Spangslund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Micael Spangslund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asbjørn Kytønen went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asbjørn Kytønen in the 67th minute of play forced Runners Mafia's goalkeeper Micael Spangslund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Bendt Klausholm fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Dirch Nyegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Berwald made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bendt Klausholm sent off a good shot on target. When Laudrup FC's Asbjørn Kytønen in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Runners Mafia's goalie prevented a goal. Micael Spangslund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asbjørn Kytønen in the 89th minute of play. Artur Berwald made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Bendt Klausholm sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Laudrup FC's zone, Dirch Nyegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Berwald came out of the goal and Dirch Nyegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laudrup FC had won after a very even match.
