Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bobby Wreschner in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eigil Wichmand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, LUNDEBORG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastean Anger came free, but Eigil Wichmand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sonny Ringmann fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LUNDEBORG FC's protests and gave Sonny Ringmann a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LUNDEBORG FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sonny Ringmann hit a great ball. Eigil Wichmand made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Sebastean Anger sent off a good shot on target. Ib Steenshof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Holsgaard having to interfere. Oskar Holsgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainer Birkesgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee gave LUNDEBORG FC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eli Hesager, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DieboldNixdroff IF's Oskar Holsgaard. 0-2. Sebastean Anger succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 37th playminute. If Mogens Delau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Bøgenhøj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eigil Wichmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Bøgenhøj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Ib Steenshof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oskar Holsgaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Wreschner to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nico Bøgenhøj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, LUNDEBORG FC's Thorfinn Orte got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute, Sebastean Anger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DieboldNixdroff IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rainer Birkesgaard 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Oskar Holsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainer Birkesgaard in the 67th minute of play. Eigil Wichmand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogens Delau, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastean Anger in the 70th minute of play. After 77 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Eli Hesager. The supporters of LUNDEBORG FC booed when DieboldNixdroff IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Bøgenhøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Bøgenhøj in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eigil Wichmand saved LUNDEBORG FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Wreschner in the 92nd minute of play forced LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Eigil Wichmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LUNDEBORG FC's zone, Nico Bøgenhøj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eigil Wichmand came out of the goal and Nico Bøgenhøj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mogens Delau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 97th minute of the match Sonny Ringmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sonny Ringmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, Sonny Ringmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The DieboldNixdroff IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LUNDEBORG FC's performance. The match ended with a win for LUNDEBORG FC.
