Rene Bogrese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eigil Wichmand having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rainer Birkesgaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Peiter Muff struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eigil Wichmand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karsbæk. In the 58th minute, Laus Rehnsby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LUNDEBORG FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eigil Wichmand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Bogrese's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Karsbæk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rene Bogrese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LUNDEBORG FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karsbæk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
