DieboldNixdroff IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Kresten Følbæk fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsted's protests and gave Kresten Følbæk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DieboldNixdroff IF booed when Åsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kresten Følbæk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Gunter Hertäg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the match, Åsted's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Bøgenhøj came free, but Gunter Hertäg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunter Hertäg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Bøgenhøj in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Wreschner in the 29th minute of play forced Åsted's goalkeeper Gunter Hertäg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DieboldNixdroff IF's Sebastean Anger got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vilfred Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskar Holsgaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilfred Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Nico Bøgenhøj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gunter Hertäg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Fardan made a kick off. Gunter Hertäg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Wreschner in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Åsted's Vilfred Martinsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oskar Holsgaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vilfred Martinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Oskar Holsgaard made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Donald Gramelius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DieboldNixdroff IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsted the free kick. After a rather tough play, DieboldNixdroff IF's Donald Gramelius got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gunter Hertäg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Wreschner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 68th minute of the match Donald Gramelius completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Donald Gramelius a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Åsted. Nicolaus Boxenbaum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oskar Holsgaard. 0-3. After a rather tough play, DieboldNixdroff IF's Bobby Wreschner got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Baltazar Sveller in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DieboldNixdroff IF's Mogens Delau. In the 90th minute Lucas Fardan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Holsgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mogens Delau hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Åsted left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DieboldNixdroff IF.
