In the 5th minute, Rainer Birkesgaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tonni Grosen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ib Steenshof got free with Tonni Grosen in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Stephan Ceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigil Wichmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephan Ceno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willy Rudme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willy Rudme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephan Ceno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Gudemoos in the 23rd minute of play. Willy Rudme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tørring's Stephan Ceno in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 37th minute, Stephan Ceno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Rudme in the 38th minute of play. Eigil Wichmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Ceno in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stephan Ceno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eigil Wichmand was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
52 minutes into the match, LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Eigil Wichmand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willy Rudme. Tonni Grosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainer Birkesgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Willy Rudme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eigil Wichmand having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tørring's Baltazar Smidstrup got a free kick in the 61st minute. Baltazar Smidstrup's late challenge caught a LUNDEBORG FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Smidstrup helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tørring's Baltazar Smidstrup got a free kick in the 65th minute. Willy Rudme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eigil Wichmand came out and tried to block the shot, but Willy Rudme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 75th minute. Stephan Ceno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eigil Wichmand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willy Rudme in the 90th minute. If Arnold Gudemoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
