Rainer Birkesgaard hit a great ball. Gustav Herning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eigil Wichmand having to interfere. Bastian Hageland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainer Birkesgaard in the 23rd minute of the match. Eigil Wichmand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Herning went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, LUNDEBORG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainer Birkesgaard to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Klemens Hender made the kick off in the second half. Bastian Hageland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lynge Hartzner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gustav Herning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Østrup FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Herning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eigil Wichmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Gustav Herning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Klemens Hender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Østrup FC's Bastian Hageland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Birkesgaard in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rainer Birkesgaard in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastian Hageland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klemens Hender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Østrup FC's Nick Kingston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chants of LUNDEBORG FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Østrup FC had held the ball for most of the match.
