Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johan Harring got the match started through his kick off. Karsbæk's Klaus Kris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Harring in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Egebjærg got a corner. Karsbæk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johan Harring ran over to the corner to take the kick. Johan Harring made a great header on Egebjærg's corner, it was just that Karsbæk's Klaus Kris managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Bogrese in the 13th minute of play forced Egebjærg's goalkeeper André Barntved to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Egebjærg got a freekick which was hit by Allan Strøfeldt. Jimmi Neels made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Karsbæk's Ansgar Brettschneider. In the 18th match minute, Karsbæk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peiter Muff to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Egebjærg's Gustaf Brandtlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klaus Kris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Klaus Kris came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Egebjærg's Laus Skovholm. But to his dismay, Laus Skovholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Karsbæk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Egebjærg:s goal. 32 minutes into the match, Karsbæk's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Brandtlund came free, but Klaus Kris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Johan Harring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Kris. Karsbæk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Harring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Karsbæk's zone, Laus Skovholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Kris came out of the goal and Laus Skovholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hemming Jøhncke in the 39th minute of play forced Karsbæk's goalkeeper Klaus Kris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Bogrese made a kick off. Laus Skovholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Klaus Kris made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, Sigurd Ilsby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karsbæk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egebjærg the free kick. 56 minutes into the game, Gustaf Brandtlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Karsbæk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. André Barntved showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Bogrese in the 62nd minute of the match. Egebjærg's Johan Harring got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Karsbæk's Rene Bogrese got a free kick in the 76th minute. Laus Skovholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Klaus Kris made a huge save. Gustaf Brandtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Klaus Kris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Karsbæk booed when Egebjærg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Strøfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Bogrese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Barntved having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Egebjærg's Lars Rudman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Egebjærg's zone, Karim Esle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Barntved came out of the goal and Karim Esle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egebjærg played a much better game than Karsbæk and deserved their victory. The Karsbæk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
