The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Klemens Hender took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Hougs. Jonas Hougs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bastian Hageland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspar Kækel in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes, Thorleif Bøgegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Snesere SIK and the Østrup FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Snesere SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorleif Bøgegren to maneuver through the defense. Østrup FC's Walther Nieholt got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kaspar Kækel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snesere SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Kækel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastian Hageland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Walther Nieholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Herning in the 23rd minute of play forced Snesere SIK's goalkeeper Jonas Hougs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Herning struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jonas Hougs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Østrup FC. Gustav Herning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathies Gratved's late challenge caught a Østrup FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathies Gratved helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Snesere SIK got a freekick which was hit by Mathies Gratved. After having played for 29 minutes, Walther Nieholt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Østrup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walther Nieholt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klemens Hender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonas Hougs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klemens Hender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Hougs having to interfere. Walther Nieholt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Knut Stuckmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes, Walther Nieholt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Østrup FC and the Snesere SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Østrup FC's Walther Nieholt got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jonas Hougs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Herning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Kaspar Kækel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Hageland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Nasgård made the kick off in the second half. Klemens Hender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
