Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taus Rybjerg made the kick off and thus started the match. If Taus Rybjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taus Rybjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vagn Blennov hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Helletofte FC's Timo Otterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Kert in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terri Lundov in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timo Otterdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Therkel Benved stood somewhat misplaced when Taus Rybjerg came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. After a rather tough play, Helletofte FC's Luis Drostø got a free kick in the 38th minute. Timo Otterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terri Lundov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eli Kert made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viborg's zone, Taus Rybjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Therkel Benved came out of the goal and Taus Rybjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Taus Rybjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Therkel Benved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Drostø hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Therkel Benved showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taus Rybjerg in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, FC Viborg's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Friholm came free, but Therkel Benved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Helletofte FC's Taus Rybjerg in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Viborg's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siegmund Skalborg during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timo Otterdahl made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Terri Lundov sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes, Helletofte FC's Edvardt Borreschmidt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Therkel Benved came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Helletofte FC reached it. When Eli Kert got free in front of the goal in the 79th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Timo Otterdahl was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Terri Lundov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjørn Weien hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Taus Rybjerg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Viborg's Therkel Benved was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Helletofte FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fredrik Hjelming hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Viborg's Rupert Moeslund got a free kick in the 96th minute. FC Viborg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
