After a rather tough play, Stendis FC's Nicolaj Barenholdt got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Stendis FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Folmar Arnrot hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eli Kert in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jørn Bøllund saved Stendis FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Nick Feltheim made a precise shot to the right of Jørn Bøllund. Stendis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sivart Svare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Therkel Benved having to interfere. Terri Lundov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 34th playminute. Jørn Bøllund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Kert, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jørn Bøllund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rupert Moeslund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. In the 48th minute Eli Kert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørn Bøllund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Frydkjær to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Folmar Arnrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Stendis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terri Lundov came free, but Jørn Bøllund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sivart Svare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Therkel Benved. That made the score 3-2 in the 56 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC Viborg's goal looked a bit too open when Gorm Julsmark came free, but Therkel Benved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stendis FC's Jørn Bøllund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terri Lundov in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Stendis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Gardrup to maneuver through the defense. Henry Frydkjær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Therkel Benved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terri Lundov took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jørn Bøllund. Jørn Bøllund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Frydkjær got free with Therkel Benved in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eli Kert in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jørn Bøllund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jørn Bøllund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Moeslund in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Stendis FC defense, Terri Lundov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jørn Bøllund. The Stendis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jørn Bøllund should have stopped the shot. After 96 played minutes FC Viborg got a freekick which was hit by Amadeus Schubring.
