Therkel Benved took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorvald Nadal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Therkel Benved stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thorvald Nadal's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The supporters of Tander SIK booed when FC Viborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Feltheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Therkel Benved showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorvald Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Vagn Thisvad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Therkel Benved was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Viborg defense, Thorvald Nadal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Therkel Benved. The FC Viborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Therkel Benved should have stopped the shot. Vagn Thisvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Thorvald Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Viborg's Therkel Benved was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Therkel Benved showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagn Thisvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Tander SIK's Thorvald Nadal, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tander SIK. Therkel Benved made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorvald Nadal in the 47th minute of play.

Vagn Thisvad in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Johannes Dambo took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Therkel Benved to make any attempt to save it. Tander SIK played a much better game than FC Viborg and deserved their victory. The FC Viborg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
