Vagn Thisvad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirk Vilby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Tander SIK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Visti Sunemeier hit a great ball. Folmar Brunved made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Muxica in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Owe Simmelkiær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hvidsten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Owe Simmelkiær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folmar Brunved made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tiburcio Muxica sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Vagn Thisvad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dirk Vilby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hvidsten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorvald Nadal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tander SIK's Frederick Tjørn was substituted for Visti Sunemeier.
