In the 13thth minute of the game Henrik Hegnsbøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Viborg's Therkel Benved was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Walentin Lannild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Viborg's Terri Lundov got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Karim Villien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Therkel Benved showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dynamo Brabrand's Henrik Hegnsbøl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Therkel Benved. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Walentin Lannild from a close distance when the talented Therkel Benved managed to make a qualified save. FC Viborg's players were relieved. From close distance Walentin Lannild pressed in the 4-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 26 minutes into the game. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Henrik Hegnsbøl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Therkel Benved showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Hegnsbøl in the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Walentin Lannild from a close distance when the talented Therkel Benved managed to make a qualified save. FC Viborg's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eli Kert to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Amadeus Schubring shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vagnar Tholsted showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eli Kert might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vagnar Tholsted. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eli Kert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th match minute, Dynamo Brabrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Sandgreen to maneuver through the defense. When Amadeus Schubring came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Viborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeus Schubring couldn't finish the play. Walentin Lannild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Therkel Benved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Walentin Lannild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Therkel Benved showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walentin Lannild, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Walentin Lannild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Therkel Benved having to interfere. When Dynamo Brabrand's Henrik Hegnsbøl in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Viborg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Terri Lundov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vagnar Tholsted was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Therkel Benved showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walentin Lannild, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, FC Viborg's goal looked a bit too open when Walentin Lannild came free, but Therkel Benved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Dynamo Brabrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvart Steinwart to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Walentin Lannild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berndt Hjørksø got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Dynamo Brabrand:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Viborg:s goal. When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, FC Viborg's Amadeus Schubring got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vagnar Tholsted. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viborg's zone, Henrik Hegnsbøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Therkel Benved came out of the goal and Henrik Hegnsbøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dynamo Brabrand fully deserved thier win.
