The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Denize in the 24th minute of play forced Ingerslev's goalkeeper Louie Obling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleks Houby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Otterdahl having to interfere. Torbjørn Weien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Louie Obling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taus Rybjerg in the 31st minute of the match. After 38th play minutes Al Denize shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Louie Obling and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Al Denize's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louie Obling was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Louie Obling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Denize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ingerslev players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Helletofte FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Al Denize stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Luis Drostø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Ingerslev defense, Luis Drostø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louie Obling. The Ingerslev fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louie Obling should have stopped the shot. With splendid footwork Al Denize arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 60th minute. If Aleks Houby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louie Obling was a little too slow when Al Denize got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. Aleks Houby charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleks Houby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Helletofte FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Drostø. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Al Denize in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Louie Obling saved Ingerslev from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ingerslev defense, Torbjørn Weien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louie Obling. The Ingerslev fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louie Obling should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Helletofte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ingerslev throughout the match.
