The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Sigvart Steinwart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dynamo Brabrand and the Hvidsten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sigvart Steinwart kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Dynamo Brabrand's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Qwinton came free, but Vagnar Tholsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes Dynamo Brabrand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Owe Simmelkiær who took care of the corner kick. Berndt Hjørksø tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Vagnar Tholsted. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 7th minute. Kim Supensteiner hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Lionel Ronaldo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hvidsten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Ronaldo couldn't finish the play. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Qwinton in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Qwinton in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vagnar Tholsted prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Muxica, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Mauricio Qwinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vagnar Tholsted was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vagnar Tholsted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Dynamo Brabrand defense, Mauricio Qwinton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vagnar Tholsted. The Dynamo Brabrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vagnar Tholsted should have stopped the shot. Tiburcio Muxica kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Dynamo Brabrand defense, Tiburcio Muxica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vagnar Tholsted. The Dynamo Brabrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vagnar Tholsted should have stopped the shot. Dirk Vilby was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinzent Soubak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 37 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walentin Lannild stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mauricio Qwinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Vagnar Tholsted was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiburcio Muxica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Vagnar Tholsted made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Vagnar Tholsted successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Lionel Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Vagnar Tholsted made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Hvidsten's Mauricio Qwinton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Brabrand's Walentin Lannild got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Vagnar Tholsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Muxica in the 74th minute of play. Hvidsten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Owe Simmelkiær in the 82nd minute. Walentin Lannild took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirk Vilby. Dirk Vilby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Mauricio Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Hvidsten's Lionel Ronaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vagnar Tholsted. Vagnar Tholsted yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-9. The Dynamo Brabrand fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hvidsten were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
