FC Viborg's Therkel Benved played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ditlev Dønkjær in the 13th minute of play. Therkel Benved made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicko Kappelskov in the 19th minute of play. Nicolaus Grenick's late challenge caught a FC Viborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolaus Grenick helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolaus Grenick kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to YNWA classic getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nicko Kappelskov hit a great ball. After 29th play minutes Nicko Kappelskov shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Therkel Benved and just under the crossbar into goal. 32 minutes into the match, FC Viborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ditlev Dønkjær came free, but Therkel Benved reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, YNWA classic's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Feltheim came free, but Valter Aablad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicko Kappelskov in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Therkel Benved prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Terri Lundov could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Valter Aablad however easily saved by the left post. If Nicko Kappelskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, YNWA classic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Fausbæk to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eli Kert to make the kick off. Nicko Kappelskov took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Therkel Benved. Therkel Benved dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of YNWA classic booed when FC Viborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeus Schubring didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amdi Talmer's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Therkel Benved - 0-5 was put on the score board in the 82nd minute. If Terri Lundov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Fausbæk was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, YNWA classic's Bernard Fausbæk got a free kick in the 91st minute. The YNWA classic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
