The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Drostø during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Drostø hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Helletofte FC's Timo Otterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Kert in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Eli Kert rounded Helletofte FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Viborg's Nick Feltheim got a free kick in the 40th minute. Al Denize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Therkel Benved having to interfere. Timo Otterdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Kert in the 47th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Helletofte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Kert came free, but Timo Otterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Eli Kert made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Helletofte FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luis Drostø hit a great ball. Torbjørn Weien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Terri Lundov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Otterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Denize who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Therkel Benved when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Helletofte FC's Al Denize in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 94th minute, Rupert Moeslund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Viborg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Helletofte FC for a fine match.
