Finn Bumroll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Kjølstad in the 4th minute of the match. If Svend Alsbro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volmar Gow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Nyenstad in the 11th minute of play forced Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Svend Alsbro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Finn Bumroll to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the match, Munkes's goalkeeper Finn Bumroll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Alsbro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Kjølstad during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Volmar Gow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Johan Thyren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Munkes's goalkeeper Finn Bumroll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Alsbro. Munkes's Finn Bumroll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Munkes from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Ambrosius Skårdal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rye BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Munkes the free kick. The supporters of Munkes booed when Rye BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosius Skårdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Harsvig hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Asmus Engkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Finn Bumroll skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Munkes booed when Rye BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Havre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Gerhard Moltesen in the 46th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Johan Thyren's left hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volmar Gow was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Svend Alsbro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finn Bumroll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 56 minutes on the clock, Gerhard Moltesen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Munkes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rye BK:s goal. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Rye BK. Asmus Dyvig stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Finn Bumroll. 3-1. Kai Nyenstad took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Thyren. Johan Thyren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Augustus Gundfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thyren having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Ali Vinsteen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rye BK and the Munkes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Rye BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vinsteen to maneuver through the defense. Johan Thyren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrestian Reiff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai Nyenstad scored 4-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Thyren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Rye BK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ali Vinsteen hit a great ball. Klement Birkvel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Rye BK got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Silvestre. 88 minutes into the match, Ali Vinsteen notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Munkes's Finn Bumroll. Finn Bumroll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Svend Alsbro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rye BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Munkes for a fine match.
