Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rye BK's Kevin Kjølstad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosius Skårdal during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Ambrosius Skårdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Samuel Weltz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rye BK's Johan Thyren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aslak Schjær in the 11th minute of play. Johan Thyren came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosenhøj Boldklub's Johan Ostersen. But to his dismay, Johan Ostersen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Samuel Weltz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Thyren having to make a save. After 18 played minutes Rye BK got a freekick which was hit by Klement Birkvel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aslak Schjær in the 21st minute of play forced Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aslak Schjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Samuel Weltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Thyren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rye BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aslak Schjær was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosenhøj Boldklub's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Timmy Vimund managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, Rye BK's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Weltz came free, but Johan Thyren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Rye BK defense, Samuel Weltz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Thyren. The Rye BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Thyren should have stopped the shot. When Klement Birkvel fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rye BK's protests and gave Klement Birkvel a yellow card for diving instead. Klement Birkvel hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Johan Ostersen scored 0-6 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Thyren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Ostersen to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Thyren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Ostersen went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Aslak Schjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Samuel Weltz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Thyren. Rye BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Weltz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 65 minutes into the game, Samuel Weltz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johan Thyren. Samuel Weltz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Rosenhøj Boldklub made a substitution. Pelle Erp replaced Stefan Wahl. If Samuel Weltz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Thyren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aslak Schjær in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Ostersen in the 74th minute of play forced Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Rosenhøj Boldklub's Johan Ostersen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johan Thyren. Johan Thyren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Werner Walcan was substituted for Samuel Weltz. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Jan Motal was substituted for Kristof Sveje. Edmund Silvestre kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Johan Ostersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosenhøj Boldklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Ostersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johan Thyren was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Werner Walcan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Werner Walcan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. If Aslak Schjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rye BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Werner Walcan 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-13. In the 95th minute, Svend Alsbro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rye BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-13. Rosenhøj Boldklub played a much better game than Rye BK and deserved their victory. The Rye BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
