Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sílvio Scherer made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 played minutes Rye BK got a freekick which was hit by Asmus Dyvig. 8 minutes into the game, one of Rye BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Finn Schiermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Finn Schiermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rye BK's Johan Thyren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johan Thyren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Scherer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Johan Thyren came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Nyrup's Sílvio Scherer. But to his dismay, Sílvio Scherer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Johan Thyren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svenne Præstiin in the 22nd minute of the match. Svend Alsbro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Rye BK's goal looked a bit too open when Svenne Præstiin came free, but Johan Thyren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Finn Schiermann made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rye BK's Johan Thyren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Johan Thyren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Scherer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Johan Thyren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finn Schiermann in the 35th minute of play. Sílvio Scherer took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Thyren. Johan Thyren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Nyrup's Anton Vallersted in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rye BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyrup's goalkeeper Sophus Richert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Svenne Præstiin scored 0-5 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Thyren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Scherer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Johan Thyren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Nyrup were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kevin Kjølstad made the kick off in the second half. Asmus Dyvig was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rye BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Johan Thyren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Finn Schiermann in the 57th minute. Finn Schiermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thyren having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Rye BK got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosius Skårdal. Svend Alsbro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Finn Schiermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rye BK's Svend Alsbro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Johan Thyren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Scherer's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Finn Schiermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thyren having to interfere. Rye BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sílvio Scherer 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Johan Thyren made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Finn Schiermann sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Svend Alsbro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sophus Richert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Thyren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenne Præstiin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Rye BK defense, Finn Schiermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Thyren. The Rye BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Thyren should have stopped the shot.
