The corner led Vikings of Dania's Absalon Skovsdal to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiago Freitas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuele Di Ruscio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Di Ruscio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuele Di Ruscio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Korneliusz Pozorski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but toledo united's Tiago Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, toledo united's Bruno Schutz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donald Lockby. Donald Lockby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, toledo united's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Pozorski came free, but Tiago Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Vikings of Dania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Arthury to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Pozorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Freitas. toledo united's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Pozorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
