With a little luck, Legoland United's Torsten Otfelt got control of the ball when Svend Alsbro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klement Birkvel took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Otfelt. Torsten Otfelt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Vinsteen got free with Torsten Otfelt in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Kjølstad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torsten Otfelt came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Kjølstad slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Alsbro got free with Torsten Otfelt in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Kjølstad made a kick off. Ulrich Jakobsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 minutes, William Havre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rye BK and the Legoland United players grew even worse after the yellow card.
