In the 5th minute, Sílvio Scherer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kai Hammerslev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Vallersted in the 10th minute of play. Sophus Richert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Ostersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Balthasar Filsted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nyrup and the Rosenhøj Boldklub players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Nyrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balthasar Filsted to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Samuel Weltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sophus Richert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Nyrup's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Weltz came free, but Sophus Richert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Nyrup got a corner. Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulf Atna ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ulf Atna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kai Hammerslev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Ostersen in the 34th minute of play forced Nyrup's goalkeeper Sophus Richert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nyrup's Sophus Richert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Ostersen in the 41st minute of play. Sophus Richert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Ostersen in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Anton Vallersted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernhardt Steinfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernhardt Steinfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nyrup fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Scherer was the one to do the kick off. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Kai Hammerslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Schiermann in the 60th minute of play. Aslak Schjær might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sophus Richert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aslak Schjær ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Finn Schiermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hammerslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Nyrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svenne Præstiin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Nyrup's Svenne Præstiin got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Kristof Sveje got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rosenhøj Boldklub made a substitution. Werner Walcan replaced Samuel Weltz. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Jan Motal was substituted for Kristof Sveje. If Finn Schiermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Werner Walcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sophus Richert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aslak Schjær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Atna charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Atna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Nyrup got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Atna. Nyrup succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rosenhøj Boldklub had controlled the match.
