Erhard Roswall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingolf Køie in the 5th minute of play. If Ingolf Køie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Ingolf Køie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingolf Køie in the 22nd minute of play forced Borup's goalkeeper Erhard Roswall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stagsted getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rune Frovin hit a great ball. Eric Jehrbo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Elivélton Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borup. Stagsted's Elivélton Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Stagsted from getting a goal against them. Erhard Roswall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingolf Køie's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Borup's zone, Ingolf Køie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erhard Roswall came out of the goal and Ingolf Køie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Gerner Fribens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Agsted was the one to do the kick off. Borup's Erhard Roswall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Borup from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Stagsted's Sigfried Oxvold got a free kick in the 59th minute. Borup's Brian Agsted got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erhard Roswall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nevjon Sheta in the 63rd minute of play. When Sigismund Julku came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Borup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigismund Julku couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Borup booed when Stagsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nevjon Sheta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Brian Agsted made a precise shot to the right of Elivélton Soares. Stagsted's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 79th match minute, Stagsted was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingolf Køie to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Stagsted getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nevjon Sheta hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Stagsted's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Agsted came free, but Elivélton Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigismund Julku struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Elivélton Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borup.
