Stephen Jepsen's late challenge caught a One step beyond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephen Jepsen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Ragged Tiger's Stephen Jepsen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Owe Klahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halfdan Junnov's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Halfdan Junnov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owe Klahn having to interfere. The supporters of One step beyond booed when The Ragged Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Byrsvang didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Hrolv was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, One step beyond's Balthasar Trip threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulvio Graziani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. One step beyond were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after The Ragged Tiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Terry Olling took the corner. The Ragged Tiger's Balthasar Trip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Cassel in the 75th minute of play. Owe Klahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halfdan Junnov in the 78th minute of the match. Owe Klahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Kvols, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Halfdan Junnov struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Owe Klahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Ragged Tiger.
