Spectators: 8429 (Terracing: 6323, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Jack Hrolv started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of One step beyond booed when Brønderslev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Gjørsig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Strandnæs got free with Tommy Haslauer in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Hrolv received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Haslauer came out and tried to block the shot, but Jack Hrolv slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Nick Strandnæs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brønderslev's Brian Wilmerskov got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Brønderslev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Thomsen to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Brønderslev's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Hrolv came free, but Tommy Haslauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Hrolv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Haslauer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Jack Hrolv succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. Jack Hrolv scored 4-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Haslauer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute Rupert Cassel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Haslauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Gjørsig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rupert Cassel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rupert Cassel sped through Brønderslev's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Haslauer. 65 minutes into the match, Patrick Reholt notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Brønderslev's Tommy Haslauer. Tommy Haslauer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Nick Strandnæs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Haslauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Haslauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Olling in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Nick Strandnæs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Haslauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 75th minute, Terry Olling made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Haslauer. Brønderslev's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 79th minute of the match, Rene Gjørsig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Owe Klahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tommy Haslauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Cassel in the 84th minute of play. Rupert Cassel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tommy Haslauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Brønderslev got a freekick which was hit by Klement Flindthammer. In the 92nd match minute, One step beyond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Froylan to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. One step beyond fully deserved thier win.
