Jack Hrolv showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Celedonio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to One step beyond getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jack Hrolv hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Cassel in the 17th minute of play forced Lunderup's goalkeeper Asbjørn Falkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, One step beyond's Jack Hrolv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asbjørn Falkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Lunderup's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Hrolv came free, but Asbjørn Falkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Grauslund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asbjørn Falkman having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Rosenlykke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lunderup's Asbjørn Falkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Hrolv in the 53rd minute of play. Asbjørn Falkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Cassel in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Lunderup's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Hrolv came free, but Asbjørn Falkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One step beyond's Terry Olling got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Jack Hrolv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. One step beyond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Hrolv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Rupert Cassel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asbjørn Falkman. Lunderup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rupert Cassel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Rupert Cassel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Asbjørn Falkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Inocencio Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Cassel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asbjørn Falkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Cassel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Hrolv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asbjørn Falkman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Lunderup getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Therkild Ranel hit a great ball. Asbjørn Falkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Hrolv, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. One step beyond had won after a very even match.
