Svenåge Vesselfeldts short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Tommy Haslauer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute, Team Boukalele's Per Greenvik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Haslauer. Tommy Haslauer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Søren Balgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Haslauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenåge Vesselfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Søren Balgaard came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Brønderslev fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Søren Balgaard couldn't finish the play. Tommy Haslauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Greenvik in the 28th minute of the match. Per Greenvik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svenåge Vesselfeldt in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Haslauer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Tom Hvannastein notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Brønderslev's Tommy Haslauer. Tommy Haslauer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Hvannastein made a kick off. Tommy Haslauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Greenvik in the 52nd minute of the match. If Svenåge Vesselfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Haslauer came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Boukalele's Per Greenvik. But to his dismay, Per Greenvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 60th minute, Svenåge Vesselfeldt made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Haslauer. Brønderslev's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Tommy Haslauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenåge Vesselfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Svenåge Vesselfeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Haslauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 82nd minute Svenåge Vesselfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Haslauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brønderslev's Tommy Haslauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svenåge Vesselfeldt in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Vilmar Timmerby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brønderslev's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilmar Timmerby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
