The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Asbjørn Falkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerhart Badeby in the 4th minute of the match. Helge Tharald hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Paulli got free with Asbjørn Falkman in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Sillerslev SIK's Mickey Udsholt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asbjørn Falkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Benny Paulli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Asbjørn Falkman made a huge save. Asbjørn Falkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhart Badeby, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Paulli got free with Asbjørn Falkman in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sigvart Refning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Rosenlykke in the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sillerslev SIK's Gerhart Badeby slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asbjørn Falkman. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. After 35 played minutes Lunderup got a freekick which was hit by Severin Paus. In the 37th minute, Gerhart Badeby reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Asbjørn Falkman. The goal made the score 3-0. Benny Paulli scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asbjørn Falkman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Rosenlykke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mickey Udsholt came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Sillerslev SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Udsholt couldn't finish the play. Severin Paus charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severin Paus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sillerslev SIK booed when Lunderup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Paus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Gregorius Eiling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asbjørn Falkman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asbjørn Falkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickey Udsholt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Gerhart Badeby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asbjørn Falkman. Lunderup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerhart Badeby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mickey Udsholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asbjørn Falkman having to interfere. Asbjørn Falkman came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sillerslev SIK's Benny Paulli. But to his dismay, Benny Paulli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Asbjørn Falkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickey Udsholt in the 70th minute of the match. Lunderup's Asbjørn Falkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhart Badeby in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lunderup's Lucas Skade got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes of play, Sillerslev SIK's Mickey Udsholt made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asbjørn Falkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Benny Paulli notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Lunderup's Asbjørn Falkman. Asbjørn Falkman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asbjørn Falkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Udsholt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sillerslev SIK! Sigvart Refning had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Therkild Ranel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. There was no doubt that Sillerslev SIK were the better team. Sillerslev SIK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
