A collision led to HB Køge getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Max Søstrup hit a great ball. Asger Hjarnis didn't quite understand what happened when in the 23 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Sandergaard in the 25th minute of play forced HB Køge's goalkeeper Rico Balsved to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Tangsted succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. In the 32nd minute, Kongstrup AC's Ivar Tangsted ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rico Balsved. Rico Balsved yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. With a little luck, HB Køge's Rico Balsved got control of the ball when Ivar Tangsted tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Volmer Dangreen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rico Balsved saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ivar Tangsted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rico Balsved tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 86th minute Ivar Tangsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Balsved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HB Køge's Adam Hailand got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leif Everdrup fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HB Køge's protests and gave Leif Everdrup a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Leif Everdrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
